If you are new to affiliate marketing, no problem. This article was specifically written for the novice in mind. Listed below are bits and pieces of information that was compiled by me.
An affiliate marketer of 2 years. I’m no “super affiliate”, but I do make a nice living off affiliate marketing. If you are interested in learning the ins and outs, then this article is for you. Just continue reading on.

You are probably really excited to joining the ranks of affiliate marketers. That’s great, affiliate marketing can be a great income source, and yes you can make much more than a living from it. However, I want you to know, it will not be easy. You won’t get by on simple things or short cuts. You need to have a thirst to learn and to improve. If you have that, then continue reading on!

Every affiliate marketer needs a few tools. You will need a graphics program (photoshop, gimp), a ftp (file transfer protocol program), and few other things. Eventually you will learn about all the tools. Some you will need immediately. Others will come later as you need them.

Before you grab tools though it would be a “genius” idea to start doing some research. You want to learn everything possible about affiliate marketing. Use a journal for this. This can be a tangible one (real life) or a digital one. Whatever it is you just need the ability to document and record.
You will be reading a lot of material and some of it may go over your head. Write it down and save it for later.

Once you have enough information formulate a plan. Your plan should be short, concise, and easy to follow. You don’t need anything complicated. The more complicated it is the more likely you will be to fail. Remember, keep it simple.

Executing your plan should be flawless. You should have no worries or fear. The main objective is to test your plan out and see the results. Don’t be turned off by negative results. Just having results is a step in the right direction. If you have negative results, then you just need to find out where you mess up and improve it. You can do this by making sure you track everything you do! Step by step and leap by leap. Have everything documented on paper for future reading and critiquing.
